DOMINIC DISANTI

Dominic DiSanti is an experienced agricultural producer who embodies a passion for agriculture and a commitment to community success. As general manager of DiSanti Farms, he represents the fifth generation of a respected family legacy of farming and ranching. Prominently known for high-quality produce, the operation services grocery chains and food service distributors with a wide array of fresh produce with the leading crops being green onions, pumpkins, summer squash, and Pueblo chile. With a keen focus on sustainability and future generations, Dominic spearheads the farm’s operations and strategic initiatives in this diverse agribusiness that also includes a commodity and forage crop program as well as a beef cattle enterprise.

Dominic graduated summa cum laude and as a University Honors Scholar from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, and Soil & Crop Science. He is a former Boettcher Scholar and was actively engaged in the Intercollegiate Judging teams in the Department of Animal Science at CSU.

In addition to the Colorado State University System, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the St. Charles Mesa Water District and the Boettcher Scholar Alumni Board. Previously, Dominic was a board member of the Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and was a founding member and President of the Pueblo Chile Growers Association. He has volunteered with the Western Sustainable Agricultural Research and Education technical review committee and on local advisory boards in Pueblo.

Dominic and his wife, Jayme, have two children and live on the family farm in Pueblo.
