Adrienne Sedlak headshot


Adrienne Sedlak is thrilled to support the development and growth of the education programs for CSU Spur as the Education Manager.  From developing teacher education programs to family engagement experiences and hands on learning for school children, Adrienne is ready to find authentic and real-world ways to connect the Denver community to learning around food, water, and health.

Adrienne is deeply committed to connecting children and families to their local communities and environments as a way of nurturing their curiosity and providing them with the skills they need to be successful.  She deeply values individuals and relationships to build strong and sustainable community partnerships.  Adrienne has been in the environmental education field for over 15 years.  She has worked with staff and volunteers, facilitated teacher education, and worked with children and families through her positions with the Early Childhood Health Outdoors (ECHO) program at the National Wildlife Federation, Plains Conservation Center, and Qualistar Colorado.

Adrienne received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Environmental Science from the University of Denver and a Master of Education: Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.  Adrienne enjoys skiing, exploring small towns, playing bocce, and traveling.  Adrienne lives in Denver with her husband and cat, Sandra Bullock.
