Happy Tuesday team!
We’ve had some busy days at the 555 office! We were happy to welcome the HCM group, who hosted 20-30 people in our conference rooms last week! As campuses are welcoming back students and parents are sending students off for the first week of classes, I hope everyone is enjoying the fresh start and excitement of a new academic year!
555 office information
As we’re approaching our first Team Tuesday in the office on Sept. 10, key information is included below that will be useful for staff members who are planning to join in person.
Parking
For those employees who are planning to work from the 555 office once a week, Maddie will be able to provide parking validation for the 555 parking garage (1755 Glenarm Place).
If you anticipate that you will be working from the office more than once a week and don’t already have a parking arrangement in place, please reach out to me so that we can discuss options.
In the event that the 555 parking garage is full, we will have validations available for overflow parking at the Plaza Parking Building located one block away on the corner of 18th and California (1820 California Street).
Carpooling is encouraged and staff will have access to a resource calendar in the near future to assist in scheduling with co-workers.
Emergency protocols
Check out the emergency protocol section on the staff resources page.
It is important to familiarize yourself with the location of the 2 stairwells in our suite!
- One stairwell is located beside the kitchen area in the hallway to the left of the front desk.
- Another stairwell is located on the opposite side of the wall from the women’s restroom (in the collaboration space).
- When in doubt, look for the lighted exit signs on the ceiling.
Maddie serves as our “floor warden” (yes, that’s the real title and she even has a very official vest to prove it!) and attends informational building meetings to stay up to date on the latest safety updates and protocols.
Office guidelines
Check out the helpful list of office guidelines for our 555 suite on the staff resources page. Topics include:
- kitchen use,
- office supplies,
- copying/recycling,
- conference rooms,

- and more.
Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines, and feel free to ask me or Maddie if you have any questions or suggestions.
Conference rooms
The 555 suite has many conference rooms and huddle spaces that are open for all staff to use. In order to reserve one of these rooms, simply invite the associated email address to your meeting on the calendar. If IT support is required, please also include [email protected] on the calendar invite.
Student intern
We are searching for a Denver-based student intern to support administrative operations at the System office. If you know of a student based in the Denver area who would be a good candidate, please send them our way!
