Kayla Garcia is the President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. Kayla leads the $3.2 million organization that serves nearly 2,000 girls annually with a mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Kayla brings more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit, business, and philanthropic communities. Prior to joining Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, Kayla served as the director of community affairs at Molson Coors Beverage Company. She led community partnership and investment strategy for Colorado and social impact programs for North America. Prior, Kayla served in leadership roles at Mile High United Way and Denver Inner City Parish. Kayla is committed to serving the Denver Metro community and ensuring all Coloradans have the opportunity to thrive.
Outside of her professional career, Kayla has served on various boards in the community and currently serves as the chair of the board of directors for Denver Leadership Foundation, Downtown Denver Partnership, and sits on the President’s Community Cabinet for Metro State University. In 2023, Kayla was named to Outstanding Women in Business by the Denver Business Journal. She has been recognized by Denver Business Journal as 40 Under 40 and Colorado Business Magazine as Colorado’s Top 25 Influential Young Professionals. Kayla is a graduate of Colorado State University and has a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business. Kayla is from Pueblo and resides in Lakewood with her husband, Joseph, and two children.
