Chancellor Finalist Visits Campuses and Stakeholders

The Colorado State University System chancellor finalist, Joe Blake, plans to visit CSU campuses and stakeholders this month.
After attending the Graduate School commencement ceremonies for CSU in Fort Collins May 15, 2009, Blake will head to Pueblo May 18th to join Pueblo community members and Governor Bill Ritter to attend a breakfast event to honor Colorado Senator Abel Tapia.
Blake will then tour the CSU-Pueblo campus with Provost Russ Meyer. The Pueblo campus will host a reception for deans, faculty and administrators to meet with Blake. The reception will be held from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the WolfPack Room, second floor of Massari Arena on the CSU-Pueblo campus.
Blake plans to visit the Fort Collins campus before the end of May. Blake would like to visit with the northern Colorado business community and hear their thoughts about working with the university. The campus will hold a reception for Blake and members of the campus community.
Since being named finalist for the CSU System chancellor, Blake has attended the CSU President Stakeholder Input Forum on May 8th in Fort Collins and has been talking and meeting with students on the Fort Collins campus, Governor Ritter, higher education and business leaders in addition to serving out his role as president of the Metro Denver Chamber.
